My newest painting.  I call this one Fairy Bells.  When I was visiting my daughter in Queens last summer these beautiful Trumpet vines grew outside her apartment building.  The oranges were lush and the shape reminded me a tropical flower.
I quickly drew several thumbnail sketches and colored them with colored pencil and this is what I came up with.
My painting is a 12"x12" with collage papers for the vines.  I also used oil and acrylic paints.  If was FUN!!!
